TRI COUNTY INTERIM BANK/FIRST STATE BANK OF BEECHER CITY


Commissioner Approves Merger of Tri County Interim Bank with and into First State Bank of Beecher City

SPRINGFIELD, IL – August 20, 2002 -- Commissioner of the Illinois Office of Banks and Real Estate, William A. Darr, today announced the agency approved the merger of Tri County Interim Bank, Beecher City, Illinois, with and into First State Bank of Beecher City, Beecher City, Illinois. The resulting bank name will be First State Bank of Beecher City.  The Order Approving a Merger Agreement - First State Bank of Beecher City may be viewed from the Corporate Orders page or by clicking on the above link.

The Illinois Office of Banks and Real Estate oversees state-chartered banks and thrifts, electronic funds transfer (EFT) networks, ATMs not owned by financial institutions, corporate fiduciaries, real estate brokers and salespersons, real estate appraisers, real estate companies, time-share/land sales, mortgage bankers, mortgage brokers, leasing agents, check printers, pawnbrokers, and auctioneers.
